LAD® - Slurry Knife Gate Valve

LAD's manufactures a flanged slurry knife gate valve using materials such as cast iron, carbon steel, or stainless steel. It comes with various optional accessories, such as solenoid valves, limit switches, and air source filters. The valve uses a variety of rubber ring materials, such as natural rubber (black), LNT (LAD's proprietary red rubber), EPDM, NBR, and others, each formulated for different operating conditions. Incorporating internal reinforcements increases the valve's resistance to deformation. Blade material include 304, 316/2205, and other suitable materials.

This product uses manual actuation to control the valve for opening and closing. The knife gate is positioned above the sealing element, out of direct contact with the fluid. Its dual-seat design provides bi-directional flow and sealing, eliminating the need to consider flow direction during installation. There are no flow direction indicators on the valve body or seat.
