The manufacturer of the slurry pump's overflow parts has identified Wuhu Naide. The slurry pump is an important equipment for pipeline transportation of liquid media containing suspended particles in industries such as mining, metallurgy, and chemical industry. The impeller, protective plate, and sheath (including front and rear sheaths) flow components are important components of the pump, which belong to vulnerable and consumable parts.
At present, the main domestic manufacturers mainly use alloy wear-resistant metal flow parts. Due to the wear and corrosion of the conveying medium, alloy cast iron parts have problems such as fast wear, high energy consumption, large maintenance volume, and short service life.
In order to improve the comprehensive performance of the product, Wuhu Naide Rubber Tube and Valve Industry Co., Ltd. has carried out research and development work on using organic polymer materials (rubber) as the inner lining of slurry pumps to prepare wear-resistant rubber flow components. In July 2014, it was identified as a new product in Anhui Province by an expert group organized by the Provincial Economic and Information Commission. Compared with traditional alloy flow components, it has less wear, lower energy consumption, less maintenance, and significantly longer service life.
Formula design innovation: Using the theory of discontinuous friction, quantitative analysis was conducted on the wear process of flow components, and the wear factors of flow components were determined. Through the orthogonal optimization method, low modulus, large elongation, high elasticity, and low friction coefficient rubber were used as the substrate for the flow components of the slurry pump to improve its wear resistance;
Innovation in molding process: Based on traditional compression molding technology, transfer molding technology is adopted. The rubber material forms a secondary flow through a movable feeding chamber under plate pressure, which is conducive to uniform heating and vulcanization, smooth mold filling, shortened curing time, and improved dimensional stability;
Mold structure innovation: Using computer simulation to simulate the flow behavior and temperature field distribution of rubber filling, the cavity adopts a petal assembly structure, reducing manufacturing difficulty, facilitating exhaust during the forming process, and improving the yield of finished products.
