Yangchong Village is located 3 kilometers southwest of Qingyang County, covering an area of 8.7 square kilometers, including 2300 acres of arable land, 500 acres of tea gardens, and 9836 acres of mountain fields. There are 17 village groups with 785 households and 2773 people in the village. Farmers mainly rely on planting agricultural products for their income, supplemented by tea, bamboo and wood industries. Yangchong Village was registered as a poverty-stricken village in 2014, with 59 households and 137 people currently living in poverty.
In recent years, while steadily developing, our company has upheld social responsibility and actively participated in various social welfare undertakings. Under the guidance of the resident work team in Yangchong Village, and after learning about the relevant situation in Yangchong Village, the company decided to sign a contract with Yangchong Village to form a partnership and jointly build with the village and enterprises.
At the event, witnessed by the resident work team of Yangchong Village, the chairman of the company, Wang Wenjun, and the first secretary of the Yangchong Village Party Branch, Wang Fengjie, signed the "Village Enterprise Paired Poverty Alleviation Agreement" on behalf of both parties. The main assistance measures in the agreement include: the company's participation in the formulation of Yangchong village level development plans and poverty alleviation plans, helping to clarify development ideas; The company provides appropriate financial or physical support to Yangchong Village; The company organizes employees to carry out activities of visiting and comforting impoverished households; The company helps Yangchong Village sell local specialty agricultural products; The company provides employment internship opportunities for graduates of Yangchong Village College and Vocational School, and prioritizes employment under equal conditions; The company utilizes enterprise customer resources to assist Yangchong Village in attracting investment and other related activities.
In addition to signing the contract, the company also donated 5000 yuan in poverty alleviation funds on site and donated one Haier refrigerator to help the village committee and resident work team improve their living conditions. Chairman Wang Wenjun also visited some poverty-stricken households, presented condolences and Mid Autumn Festival mooncakes, and thoroughly understood the basic situation, production and life, and policies enjoyed by each household.
